I want to introduce two new coffees from Mugby Junction Coffee Roasters.
Nicaragua
The first is from PRODECOOP in Nicaragua, Fair Trade and Organic. PRODECOOP is a second-level cooperative organization that groups 38 grassroots cooperatives made up of 2,300 small producers, 27% of whom are women. These producers and their respective cooperatives are located in the areas of Esteli, Madriz, and Nueva Segovia, in northern Nicaragua. On average, they export 30,000 coffee bags, of which 50% of the total volume is organic and Fair Trade certified.

Honduras
The second coffee is a Honduran microlot from Finca El Alto de los Santos. Herminio Perdomo Romero grows several varieties on 24 hectares at Finca Alto de los Santos, including Caturra, Catuai, Lempira, and IHCAFE 90. This coffee was picked ripe and depulped the following day, then fermented dry for 48 hours. It’s dried in solar driers for about 26 days.
