By the pricking of my thumbs, something Mugby this way comes!
Mr. Bartleby here, introducing some new and old friends.
For those of you who are Shakespeare lovers, you’ll recognize the salutation, a quote from Macbeth, with which I took a bit of poetic license by way of introduction to our new blend:
This is a blend I first introduced in 2010, for Winona’s Great River Shakespeare Festival, who was presenting Macbeth. Last year, I brought it back, and have had many requests to bring it back every summer. This blend is a mixture of Mexican and Costa Rican coffees. It is a light roast, which is mild and clean, with citric acidity and cocoa flavor. In, in, damn Mugby!
I’m also bringing back another old friend, Bottom’s Blend. This is another fan favorite I created for GRSF, and is a blend of Sumatran and African coffees, savory with a creamy mouthfeel.
And finally, for summer we have a fantastic coffee from Costa Rica from Café Vida back in the warehouse. Café Vida captures the classic profile of a Washed Costa Rican coffee, with up-front sweetness, mild nuttiness, and sparkling but gentle citric acidity. These are easy-drinking coffees that work well as approachable single-origin brews, or as a sweet base in a blend. The cup is sweet and tart with chamomile, cherry, praline and toffee flavors.
You can read more about each of these coffees on our website.
For those of you who have not ordered from us before, you get 10% off of your first online order. Regardless of this being your first, twelfth, or Nth order, all orders over $50 get free shipping, within the continental US.
Warm regards,
Mr. Bartleby
